About this event
It's Summer in Wickenburg and what better way to spend your time than inside, in the air-conditioning, creating an oil painting? In this Month-long class you will learn how to take a fresh, white canvas to completion. The class will cover composition, color mixing, perspective, brushstroke, color harmony....all of that and more.
This class will be hands-on, Corey will teach as you are painting. The class is limited to six painters of any experience level. Wickenburg Art Center will provide all of the materials, from canvas to paint, the only thing needed is your reference photo. The photo MUST be one that you took yourself and can be of just about anything, except....no portraits, that's a different class!
The classes will be held in the main studio at WAC, starting at 9am, breaking for lunch, and continuing until 4pm. That's the intensive part, so be prepared to work!
