Important Dates
All Photographers and Writers: A box is set up in the kitchen at the Art Center for you to submit your photos and writings for 2024 Double Takes. You may submit up to 3 photos or writings no later than 3 pm on November 13 . Include your name, the title of the photo or writing on the back of each item. If you are unable to deliver your entry to WAC, email your submission to Pam Plummer no later than November 10. Contact Pam Plummer if you have any questions.
November 13, 2023 WAC General Meeting: Selection of photos and Writings for 2024 Double Takes Exhibit
January 30, 2024 Double Takes check entries into Gallery b
February 3, 2024 Double Takes Opening and Reception 4 pm to 6 pm
April 1, 2024 Double Takes pick up unsold work
What is Double Takes?
Double Takes is a collaboration between photographers, writers and artists of other media. The exhibition from WAC juried artists consists of a) one photograph and b) one piece of art created in another medium inspired by that photograph. The exhibition takes place in the Gallery of the Wickenburg Art Center from February 5th and February 25, 2022.
The Hassayampa Writers’ Guild also participates in either the “inspiration” side or the “inspired by” side.
