Outside Venues



Several Outside Venues are available to our members as additional gallery space to show and sell your work.  The schedules for most of these spaces are on a monthly rotation and are either individual artist or shared shows.  For each Outside Venue, there is a description of the space, the sizes of pieces that fit the best in the space, hanging requirements and a link to submit a request to hang (which will include photos of samples of your work.)

  Artist guidelines for Outside Venues:

  • All sales are coordinated by WAC.  Please price your work accordingly to include the 25% commission collected by WAC on all sales.
  • Please make sure you have a current Hold Harmless Agreement on file with WAC before you submit a request to hang.
  • Artist Bio – Please provide an artist statement about you and your work for your display.  A simple 8x11 paper mounted on mat or in a frame will do, positioning will depend on venue.
  • Place a title card (provided by WAC) with each piece.  Include a price or “not for sale”.  The WAC contact information will be provided at the venue for anyone interested in purchasing your work.


Please keep safety in mind – if you need assistance hanging your show, please let the Outside Venue Chair know and we will accommodate your needs.

Venues

Wickenburg Library


Currently our largest outside venue space.  The Library Conference Room is dedicated to our use most times of the year (with exceptions for scheduled special events).  

 

Rotation: Monthly

Space/# of pieces: 12-15 Medium to Large pieces

Medium: 2D Open

Genre: Open

Hanging Method: Wire hanger preferred – will need to fit chair-rail hangars hooks provided by WAC 

Shared Space:  1 artist or 1-4 artists shared show


National Bank of Arizona (540 W. Wickenburg Way)



WAC has an easel in the bank lobby to display one large (> 32”x20”) piece.

 

Rotation: Monthly

Space/# of pieces: 1 Large piece

Medium: 2D Open

Genre: Western/Arizona ONLY

Hanging Method: Large Easel 

Shared Space:  1 artist only

Space/# of pieces: 3-4 smaller pieces

Medium: 3D

Genre: Open

Hanging Method: Display case with optional risers and fabric base. 

Shared Space:  1 artist or 1-3 artists shared show


Business/Artist Opportunities



These opportunities are agreements between the artist and various businesses in Wickenburg directly.  WAC is not involved in sales or promotion of these business displays.  The artist works directly with the business owner to agree which works are displayed and the pricing. 


Balanced Life (260 E. Wickenburg Way)


Colleen Devey, owner of Balanced Life has requested local art for her store.  She will want to see samples of your work.  These are some of the details, please coordinate with her if you are interested.  928-231-8810 or her email is  atedevey@yahoo.com 


Rotation: Monthly – or replacement as they sell

Space/# of pieces: (3) 5’x5’ sections of wall space – clusters of pieces on smaller size (4x6, 5x7, 8x10) ONLY that visitors can travel with.

Medium: 2D Acrylic/Oil on canvas ONLY.  No Photography.

Genre: Arizona Related – landscape, wildlife, flowers, abstract OR Western Classy/Farmhouse

Hanging Method: Pieces ready to hang (preferably wire hanger)

Shared Space:  Yes, 3-4 artists

Pricing: $45 - $125, This is the price range she would like to sell within.  Please keep in mind, she will mark up your price by 25%
