This in-gallery experience explores a dynamic collection of paintings, sculptures, and drawings by contemporary women artists of the American West.

As we move through the galleries, we’ll slow down and look closely at selected works, discussing elements such as composition, technique, subject matter, and storytelling. Together, we’ll practice using a critical eye to analyze and interpret the artwork, considering how each piece reflects both individual perspective and broader narratives of the West.

Participants are encouraged to engage in open dialogue—sharing observations, asking questions, and exploring multiple interpretations. Whether you’re new to art or have experience studying it, this class offers a thoughtful, interactive way to deepen your visual literacy and appreciation of contemporary Western art.
