Desert Wall Hanging
Join Artist Shari Keith to create a desert wall hanging using found objects from nature and our own environment. The artist will provide a treasure trove of interesting items for you to use and will guide you in the construction of a work of art that is uniquely yours. All tools and materials will be provided, and if you have items of your own that you would like to incorporate, please bring them to add to your creation!
Shari Keith
Shari Keith holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in Education. Calling herself The Junk Lady, she uses found and discarded objects in non-traditional ways to create unique pieces of visual art that have been exhibited in numerous art galleries and juried art shows. Shari has been a professional teaching artist in visual arts for over 15 years and has worked extensively throughout Arizona teaching a wide variety of programs to students of all ages at primary and secondary schools, universities, museums, community centers, senior centers, and at over 50 Arizona libraries.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 6:00 AM
Cancellation Policy:
WAC requests that you cancel no less than48 hours s before a scheduled class or workshop. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the start of any class or workshop will receiveo credit or a refund less a $5 cancellation fee. No refunds or credit will be issued within 48 hours before the start of a class or workshop for any reason, including illness. Additionally, there are no refunds for no-shows or for withdrawal after classes or workshops begin. If for any reason WAC and/or its instructor must cancel a class then the choice of either a credit or full refund will be given. Credit for classes and workshops must be used within one year.
