A Taste of Printmaking: Drypoint - Single Class
About this event
"A Taste of Printmaking: Drypoint"
An intaglio printmaking technique that creates sharp lines with fuzzy, velvety edges. A diamond-pointed needle is used to incise lines directly into a bare metal printing plate. Inking fills the incised lines. Damp paper is placed on the plate and then manually rubbed to get a beautiful print. Watercolor or colored pencils can then be used to enhance the print.
All materials will be provided.
