If you are interested in exploring photography, whether it’s through a “real” camera or your smartphone, come join us on the first Monday of the Month from October – May at 4:00 PM. We have speakers, workshops and photo outings throughout the season.

In this class you will learn how to make beautiful earrings and bracelets for
a fraction of the cost of store prices. You will complete three pairs of earrings
and a bracelet in class. All supplies included.
This program will be held on Thursday mornings beginning February 19 and will focus on Basic Skills for Beginners and as a Refresher course for Intermediate Members. The focus of the class will be landscape painting with a bit of still life as well. Members can expect to complete 2-3 paintings during this program and all supplies will be included.
An introduction to watercolor paints, brushes, and papers. Three paintings will be completed in the four classes as students learn wash techniques, composition, working with values of light and dark: texture, line, drawing preliminary sketches, showing distance, and a brief overview of color theory.
IMPORTANT: You MUST be registered for Paint Wickenburg to attend this class.
Plein Air Basics is a free workshop for anyone who is registered for the 3rd Annual Paint Wickenburg event coming up March 14th. Corey Garman will be teaching the basics of plein air painting at her studio (address will be provided) where students will have both landscape views and structures to choose from. Please bring lunch and a folding chair.
Step into the timeless world of printmaking! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamentals
of linocut printing — from carving your own design into a block to inking and printing it onto
paper.
Linocut is a bold and expressive process that allows for both simple, graphic designs and
intricate detail. Together, we’ll explore:
• How to safely and effectively carve into a linoleum block
• Inking techniques that bring out crisp, beautiful impressions
• Ways to experiment with layering, texture, and color
• Tips for making multiple prints of your design
No prior printmaking experience is needed — this class is beginner-friendly and all about
discovery. You’ll leave with your own carved block and a set of original prints to keep or share.This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about printmaking, looking to expand their creative practice, or simply wanting to try something new.

Join Claire Perkins for this free overview to learn about SoulCollage and how it can inspire you in your art practice. Claire will be sharing how she creates collage cards and will be sharing some of her creations from her own deck to inspire you to sign up for her SoulCollage For Your Inner Artist workshop, which will be held on March 24th.
Celeste Koper will be leading a workshop on framing and hanging your art in preparation for our Paint Wickenburg joint plein air event with the Sigler Western Museum which is scheduled for March 14. This workshop will also be helpful to anyone who is planning to show their art in the WAC Gallery.

Paint Wickenburg is a collaborative event of the Wickenburg Art Center & Gallery and the Sigler Western Museum. Plein Air painters will gather to paint Historic Downtown Wickenburg.

Learn how to wrap gemstones in a variety of ways to create beautiful pendants.
You will learn three different wire wrapping techniques and also learn how to
make beautiful wire manipulated earrings. You will will leave with a necklace,
pair of earrings, and a number of sample pieces.

Alebrije‘s are colorful, whimsical sculptures of mythical creatures that are part of Mexican folk art and Aztec folklore. The word "alebrije" was created specifically for this style of art and has no direct translation in English. Alebrijes are considered spirit guides that connect spirits and the real world, and help people become who they are supposed to be
